Missions

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations

Matthew 28:19

EASTSIDE Baptist Church is committed to sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with others in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and the ends of the earth (Acts 1:8). We have historically been a church planting and mission sending church. As a member church of the Southern Baptist Convention and the White River Baptist Association, we financially support missions through the Cooperative Program and our annual March to Missions giving. We believe being a missional church is more than financial and prayer support, it also includes going. We encourage our members to participate through scheduled mission trips.

Haiti

Haiti's Eden Limbe was founded in 2010 by Monel & Joselie Jules. Haiti's Eden is the result of their vision to give back to their community. Both born in Limbe, Northern Haiti, Monel and Joselie dreamed of using their education and training to transform their hometown for the Glory of God and to further His Kingdom. Monel serves as the full-time Senior Pastor for the Eden Church and Director of the Community Center. Joselie is the Physician in Chief at the medical clinic. Motivated every day by their vision to "Share the love of Jesus within the community," Monel, Joselie, and their small staff seek to help people find a relationship with the Lord through the testimony of the church, enriching the social and economic quality of life, and providing for basic healthcare needs.
This is a medical mission trip. The mission trip is projected for January-February 2026. The cost is estimated at $2,000.

Dominican Republic

Daystar Baptist Ministries’ largest team of missionaries serves in San Pedro de Macorís, Dominican Republic. This trip will focus on equipping church members and discipleship.  Our team will serve alongside local church members in encouraging, training, and helping strengthen their follow-up efforts as they reach families and children in their community.
This is an adult trip only, limited to 14 people (great opportunity for senior adults). The mission trip is scheduled for March 21-27, 2026. The cost is estimated at $2,000.

Malaysia

1000 Deep is in Terengganu, Malaysia. The vision is to send 1000 disciples of Christ to sow Gospel sharing relationships among unengaged peoples throughout ECO outdoor trips like hiking, hunting, island snorkeling, cooking and foodie tours, culture tours, and more. Chris Mcilravy grew up in Mountain Home and attended ESBC as a youth. His prayer is that through outdoor activities, they can share the gospel with local guides. In Malaysia, Christianity is not illegal, unless more than four people gather together. Other false religions have the freedom to gather in large groups.
Space is limited to four people. The mission trip is scheduled for December 9-17, 2025.  The cost is estimated at $3,800.

Jamaica

IsleGo Missions has been taking teams to Jamaica since 1982! They work together with national pastors and partners in several different projects, including building Little Blue Houses for those needing shelter, food baskets for those needing food, children's ministry, visiting the elderly and homeless, all in His name. Our week there will include evangelism, Bible clubs for children, feeding the children in that village, working on housing for people in a squatter's village, taking food to homes where there is none, and visiting a safe place for the homeless.
Projects Focus: Evangelism, KidzMealz for the children, food for the hungry, Little Blue Houses for the homeless, visiting the sick, anti-trafficking, and clean water.
This is a family mission trip. The mission trip is projected for May 23-30, 2026. The cost is estimated at $2,000.
