Missions

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations

Matthew 28:19

EASTSIDE Baptist Church is committed to sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with others in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and the ends of the earth (Acts 1:8). We have historically been a church planting and mission sending church. As a member church of the Southern Baptist Convention and the White River Baptist Association, we financially support missions through the Cooperative Program and our annual March to Missions giving. We believe being a missional church is more than financial and prayer support, it also includes going. We encourage our members to participate through scheduled mission trips.

MARCH TO MISSIONS

What an exciting time in the life of East Side, and what a blessing it is to be part of  Growing Together in the Love of God and Pursuing Our Kingdom Purpose.
I want to invite each of you to be part of our 2026 journey through March to Missions.
One of the primary ways we live out this mission is by sharing God's love with those right here in our own community. Mountain Home and the surrounding areas is our local mission field. The people we encounter at work, school, sporting events, businesses, and throughout our daily lives are all opportunities for us to fulfill God's Kingdom purpose.
Our vision is to see everyone becoming a Spirit-Led Follower, a Selfless Servant, a Faithful Friend, and a Kingdom Multiplier. The Local Outreach Ministry provides a practical path for each of us to grow in these areas.
At the heart of Eastside Outreach is the belief that every person within our reach should know the depth of God's love for them. Because of this, we seek to invest in our community through outreach events, service projects, partnerships with local ministries, and support individuals in need. Just as Jesus met physical needs in order to minister to spiritual needs,
we seek to serve others in physical way that open doors for life-changing conversations about Christ.
As we begin over the next several months to journey together  through March to Missions, I encourage you to prayerfully consider how God would have you participate. Ask Him how He might use you to serve in our local mission field and what He would lead you to give toward our March to Missions offering.
Our March to Missions goal this year is $69,000. Through your faithful giving, we will continue supporting local outreach efforts, church planting, missionary partnerships, and Gospel-centered ministries that are helping people come to know Christ. Every dollar given is an investment in Kingdom work and an opportunity to be a Kingdom Multiplier.
Together, we can continue growing in the love of God, pursuing our Kingdom Purpose, and making a lasting impact in our community and around the world.
Thank you for your faithful prayers, generous hearts, and commitment to God's mission.
I look forward to seeing how God will work through our church family as we seek to be Spirit-Led Followers, Selfless Servants, Faithful Friends, and Kingdom Multipliers.
Grace and Peace,
David Small, Outreach/Missions Pastor

We will have the privilege of helping build "Tiny Blue Homes" that provide safe, secure housing for homeless families in Jamaica. These homes do more than provide shelter—they provide hope, dignity, and a tangible reminder of God's love. Through this ministry, we will have opportunities to build relationships, encourage families, and share the hope of Jesus Christ.

This mission trip is about much more than construction. It is about serving together as families and growing together in our faith. Imagine serving alongside your spouse, children, grandchildren, parents, friends, or people that you don’t even know as God uses you to make an eternal impact. The memories created, the friendships formed, and the spiritual growth experienced often become some of the most meaningful moments and memories in a family's journey of faith.

At Eastside, our mission is Growing Together in the Love of God and Pursuing Our Kingdom Purpose. This trip is a wonderful opportunity to do just that. As we serve, we grow closer to Christ and to one another while living out our vision as being Spirit-Led Followers, Selfless Servants, Faithful Friends, and Kingdom Multipliers.

You do not need construction experience to participate. You simply need a willing serving heart and a desire to be used by God. There will be opportunities for everyone to contribute and serve.
This mission trip is designed for both families and individuals who desire to serve. However, because this is an Individual/Family Mission Trip, children are welcome to participate; however, all participants must be 11 years of age or older.
