Night to Shine is designed for individuals with special needs who are 14 years of age or older.
Each registered guest will have the opportunity to enjoy an evening that includes:

• A red-carpet entrance
• Prom-style activities and entertainment
• Hair and makeup
• Dinner
• Dancing
• Photos
• Special activities throughout the evening
• A crowning ceremony
• Lots of encouragement, celebration, and fun

Guest registration for Night to Shine 2027 will open in November.  Registration is required for all guests. Space is limited, so we encourage families to register as soon as registration opens.  When completing registration, families will be asked to provide information that will help our team prepare for the guest's needs and make the evening as safe, comfortable, and enjoyable as possible.

There are many different ways to serve, and there is a place for everyone. Volunteer opportunities include:

• Buddy – Spend the evening with a guest, assist them throughout the night, and help make their experience special. Buddies must be at least 16 years old.
• Paparazzi and Red Carpet – Welcome guests as they arrive and cheer them on as they make their grand entrance.
• Hair and Makeup – Help guests get ready for their special night.
• Set-Up and Decorating – Help transform our church into a beautiful prom experience.
• Food Service – Help serve meals and care for our guests and volunteers.
• Parking and Security – Help guests arrive safely and keep the evening running smoothly.
• Medical – Assist with medical needs throughout the event.
• Entertainment and Dance Floor – Help create a fun and welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
• Check-In and Registration – Welcome guests and help with registration.
• Coat Check and Other Support Roles – Help with the many behind-the-scenes details that make the night possible.

All volunteers age 16 and older are required to complete a background check. This helps us provide a safe and welcoming environment for all of our guests. Buddies must be 16 years of age or older. Some volunteer positions may have additional requirements based on the role. 

Volunteer registration for Night to Shine 2027 will open in November. Once registration opens, you will be able to choose the area where you would like to serve.  You do not need special experience to volunteer. What matters most is having a willing heart and a desire to serve, encourage, and love our guests.  We would love for you to be part of Night to Shine 2027 and help us make this a night our guests will never forget. .
